What we sell

FIRST YEARS sells digital products only. Each product is a file delivered electronically after checkout. No physical item is shipped.

Your licence

When you buy a FIRST YEARS product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may read it on your own devices, print it for your own use, and share it with members of your household for their personal use.

What you may not do

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or publish a FIRST YEARS product. You may not upload it to a public or shared location, post it to a file-sharing service, or otherwise make it available to people who have not purchased it. You may not alter a product and present it as your own, or remove any attribution or source information it contains.

We retain ownership of the products and all rights not expressly granted to you above.

Health and safety information

FIRST YEARS products contain general educational information. They are not medical advice, they do not diagnose or treat, and they are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

FIRST YEARS does not provide individualized medical advice. Nothing in our products is tailored to you or to your baby, and no product can tell you anything about your baby specifically.

Where our products describe what is commonly observed in newborns, they name the authority that describes it and list the source so you can read the guidance yourself.

If you have a question or concern about your baby, contact your pediatrician, midwife or healthcare team. You do not need a reason that sounds good enough. For an emergency, seek emergency care immediately.

Availability and changes

We may update, revise or withdraw products over time. We may also update these terms. Any change applies from the date it is posted here.

Accuracy

We take care to make our products accurate and useful, but we do not warrant that they are free of every error or omission, or that they will suit every situation. Use your own judgement, and involve your healthcare team where the question is a clinical one.
